I think the melt value might be around $2 in current US fiat but the actual buying power might be closer to 3 bucks, because it is a silver dime and people love things that are real.

I think the gold to silver ratio is meaningless anymore. There is no golden rule that states that the ratio has to be anywhere closely related.
