Silver stacking is a popular investment strategy that involves purchasing physical silver bullion with the goal of preserving and growing wealth. Silver, along with gold and other precious metals, is considered a safe-haven asset that offers protection against inflation and economic uncertainties. In recent years, silver prices have shown potential for significant growth, making it an attractive option for investors looking to diversify their portfolios.
Silver stacking involves buying silver bullion, which can come in various forms such as bars, rounds, and coins. While some investors prefer to buy collectible silver coins that may have higher premiums, beginners are advised to start with silver bullion due to its lower cost and easier liquidity. March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amI don't even pay any attention to prices. I have my stash. Not selling. Not buying. It is there until I need it. One other nice thing about having it. If I or my wife have to go into a nursing home and the state requires paying until we're cash broke before they give aid, I'll still be ok after being cash broke.

March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amAndy made some valid points but you can sometimes succeed (big time) with certain pieces when you have experience in this space. Slayer you know very well how some first in a series have done such as the first Chiwoo medal or the first Privateer Round. In recent months, the first Commanders piece has done well (sorry if that's taboo to mention a competitor's product here 😂).

March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amI think that you should keep well away from coins like the dear Star Wars and Harry Potter ones, that you get boxed
with a price tag of £70 Plus.
You will find them very hard to sell on for a good price, stay with Silver Eagles or Britannia's, or the lower end rounds and other
coins.

March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amMentioned the milking process before. This is a problem when dealing with sovereign coins. The maples after 2018 seemed to fix the problem. There doesn't seem to be a big problem with American eagles. But you get into other countries you could be taking care of your coins carefully and a few years later you having milking on the rims and on either side of the coins. There can also be spots. I won't mention the country, but in a YouTube video the guy was heartbroken because his monster box of coins had the problem and the mint didn't deal properly with him. Don't get broken hearted find out which sovereign coins have these issues.

March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amI buy bullion only because it's an insurance policy not investment. Investments can fail miserably. Anything on paper is just paper so you have to be able to hold it in your hand. People don't want to take risks so they go paper thinking it's safe from thievery. To hold it, you have to have a safe but there's a risk of theft. I'd rather be responsible for my stuff verses someone else.

@JohnnySilverfootesays:
March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amabsolutely agree. I keep my metals stacking separate from my coin collecting.
Matter of fact, I only collect coins for historical value, not $$$, so I always clean the hell out of them to make sure they are pristine looking for MY liking but entirely useless numismatically. Yeah, thats a waste of an old coin, but I dont collect anything thats that rare anyway, so theres millions of others floating around out there that havent been cleaned.
I dont want my metal stacking overlapping my coins.
I bought some old french roosters this past week and intentionally stuck to those for my gold stack because they really dont have much collector value because of there being so many of them unless you have something in a high grade condition, which I would intentionally avoid. Got a half decent price, just a bit over spot….right into the gold / silver stack they went.

March 15, 2024 at 2:40 amI want the moon deep pandas because I love pandas. I'm buying collectable things I like. I already have a good size stack. I don't have space for much more silver.
